ROBOTICS & AI IN AGRICULTURE

  • Are you hyped to hear about agriculture, ai, and robotics???
Me too! Me too! Me too!! 🙋🏼‍♀️🚜.

    Let's do it. 😎🙌💎📈🌾🫧

Yes. As the 'tax' event coverage nearly comes to an end, let's talk about food and get cookin'!!! The future of agriculture is coming to on farms near you, if your local authorities and decision makers embrace it --- so learn about it!!

The ag. world is ripe and ready for:
    - epic opportunities in systems and logistics
    - huge advancements in growing more naturally/chemical-free
    - investing!!! (ATM it's been almost forgotten in the investing world!?)

There is so much we can solve and improve on our farmlands (Ai can even help IMPROVE the land!!!)... it's all happening and shifting RIGHT NOW - So, let's get it! Cleaner/fresher/cheaper food for all!! Please? yeah. It's happening! Let's push it forward.

    -----

This event was the most positive/hopeful event I've been to in a long time- 😂 related to industry/tech. Hahaha. Just, a lot of other events I go to, I hear some of what they have to say, and I'm like, "oh brother!! not crazy stuff like this, again!! Not stuff that makes me more disappointed in the world!? hahaha"

But for agriculture, call me a bit optimistic, but I feel like we're headed towards a wave of agricultural revolution. Food grown with WAY less (or no) chemicals - grown much more naturally, affordably, and organically FOR ALL!!! if we embrace it and push for it!!!!! We have the power, hello!!

This is the blog to start reading about robotics, agriculture, and ai: https://lnkd.in/gm5CxAuP 🕺??🕊️

  • What percent of U.S. farmland is organic? 🤷‍♀️
Well, for this is Post '1' on agriculture and robotics, 🤖
    It’s also the answer: '1%'. 💭
ONE PERCENT of farmland is organic. 😅
    Leaving 99% non-organic. 🏭

Synonyms for non-organic (incase you need a refresher):
    - Industrial
    - Synthetic-based
    - Pesticide-reliant
    - Chemically treated
    - Fertilizer-intensive

.... So, are you happy relying on that for your source of fuel, and your kids, and their kids? 99% of our food + lands? Or... should we start looking for natural & creative solutions? 🕺

My vote? 🙋🏼‍♀️🧑‍🌾 I say: let's get natural & creative.
    How?
Find out over the next few weeks via my linkedin posts w/ little snippets from this event... and/or! read about the agriculture tech event here, at my blog: https://lnkd.in/gm5CxAuP

    It
was fun to learn about how Ai and robotics expanding our abilities in agriculture. Seems we'll even be able to learn enough to improve the farmland, labor conditions, food quality...!! Let it rock!

  • Another trivia question!! 🙋🏼‍♀️ But, you're going to WISH this answer was 1%...
What percent of Americans test positive for Glyphosate/Round Up in their system?

4/5ths of all Americans!! EIGHTY PERCENT OF AMERICANS TEST POSITIVE FOR ROUND UP IN THEIR PEE. That's probably you, me, and our friend... orbiting bug killer in our systems each day.

Are you part of the 80% (up to 93% based on the study you read) testing positive for Round Up (the bug killer) in your human system? 😅🏭🐛☠️

Why the heck would you want to read more? Idk. Not after a fact like that. But... if so, here you go: https://lnkd.in/gm5CxAuP (lol don't worry!! it get's a lot more optimistic!! I'm excited for these solutions in agriculture heading our way!! 🚜🌾✨)

  • 👏🏻 GOOD NEWS! According to the entrepreneurs speaking at this event, EVERY SINGLE FARMER wants to be using less chemicals. 🕺🏆☠️📉👀🤷‍♀️

So... what are we waiting for? Scaling!!!!!!!! The solutions are here to achieve fewer chemicals on our foods and healthier solution in farming!!

Read more from my bloggidy blog blog, here -> https://lnkd.in/gm5CxAuP. It's a detailed report of a recent event on updates in the Robotics and Agricultural world. Four local entrepreneurs shared about recently breaking into the agtech world, with solutions for modern day problems on the farm:
    - like over reliance on chemicals
    - the availability of UV lights for tending weeds
    - Ai's use cases
    - Tedious tasks that are destructive to human bodies but easy for robots (like 'rock picking')

For all of these entrepreneurs, their commonality is the goal to leave the world better than they found it. To improve our environment and food quality.

For me, this was one of my favorite events I've been to, for a number of reasons. I'll reflect really quickly for you here:

    1. It felt so 'cutting edge'. They clearly explained how we have a million problems in the food industry (AND HELLO - EVERYONE EATS!) and actually, a lot of problems are easy to solve. These micro-problems are really profitable and being solved by these guys... a number of them it's their first business 😂 To me, I thought, "holy crap, this is just the beginning!!" (and they even mentioned VC has hardly even looked at AgTech... What the heck!? Why??? hahahah - ITS FOOD! lol.

    2. It was so exciting and relatable. As I said - WE ALL EAT. So learning that our food will get better is such a relief. When? Um... idk - it's why I'm hyping up this event ASAP hahah. Right? What a great industry!!

    3. They said every farmer THEY talked to wants to be using less chemicals. Does that mean EVERY FARMER ON EARTH? NO!!! Some may be happy that others are using more chemicals cause its putting their at an advantage, in an evil-business-person-way... SO, I like that we are finding farmers who DO want less chemicals, and I hope we can empower THEM, and just make things better for everyone - SO TAKE THAT EVIL FARMERS!!!! Lol. (not LOL though. They are smart, but so are we!! Just go play some video games, evil farmer!! Let out your anger there, You know? Let's move on and let the plants grow naturally). Something along those lines is what I want those corrupt guys to hearrrr!! 😅👍

  • 😅 So, we've learned that humanity is filled with chemicals (especially here in the USA with 80% of us testing positive for Round Up™)... and we've also learned that we are only held back from solving these problems because of scaling (meaning... we've got the solutions, now let's make them popular).

At one point in the Q&A*, an audience member asked, "Are you only pitching directly to farms, or have you tried to talk to the government as well."

    OOHHHFFFFF. What a reply.

Summarized: "It's as bad as you could guess." 😅. WHaT!?!?!?! 😤

For some reason the government has no interest helping out with healthy foods for the peopleeeeeeeee....??????

One of the entrepreneurs spent literally months there in DC trying to get less chemicals solutions for our fooddssss!!! And another heads there soon (if he didn't already, this speech WAS a few weeks ago...)

You can legit watch the event I attended here -> Fact check me or reach out to them if you wanna get involved hahah. It was a very good spirited, positive and awesome event. I highly suggest you check it out!! https://lnkd.in/gCmAdDsJ <--- this is their official website (I saw they've now posted the speech online, so ch-ch-check it out hereeee) 📺

And if you want the summarized, less-formal, and more 2nd hand version... hahaha, read my blog about that event here: https://lnkd.in/gm5CxAuP. It's like, the biased fan-non-fiction of the event 🕺😂 written by me 🙋🏼‍♀️.

Or do both (watch the video AND read the blog) and be too two epic!!! For real. ✌️😁. You will learn a lot from the video/speeches those guys gave in that link from their websiteeeee. And then be hyped about the future + inspired, even, maybeeeee.

*also, I really wanted to interrupt the paragraph above and congratulate them on having a Q&A, but it was too distracting, so we'll put it down here. It's like 20-30% of the time these events forget or leave out Q&A's. So, as much as I give people crap about no Q&A's, let's pour out a tall one for the people who do. ("A TALL ONE!? ISN'T THAT TOO MUCH!?" you say. But... I've only ever done that with alcohol and I quit drinking hahah. So yeahhh. Plus, I like to influence people to consider not drinking. It's been a good move for the past decade or so! Good move. So, pour out the entire tallboy you brought over for me, on behalf of Q&A's okay? This event deserves it! 😂)

AND BTW: If you're wondering, "How are they getting these solutions to the farms then? If the government isn't helping?"

    Answer: Literally, door-to-door, farm-to-farm. 🫥

  • Turns out agriculture is constantly an overlooked sector. 😶‍🌫️ So weird, huh? Agriculture is food (growing natural food, at least) 👀 When's the last time you ate? And before that? And before that? You remember to eat decently well enough, yes?.... but we don't often invest in it or build on the sector???99% of farmland isn't organic... it's chemical dependent!! And that dependency has consequences when 80%+ of Americans are testing positive for RoundUp™ in our systems. It's you, it's me... it's the system. 🌾 Watch the literal talk of this event I attended - here at THIS LINK - to watch and learn more: https://lnkd.in/gCmAdDsJOr read my fan-non-fiction blog from this event: https://lnkd.in/gm5CxAuP 👩🏼‍💻 at this link to my blog, kelly tutors dot com.🕺🚜✨ Here's some relief and hope: when you talk to the farmers, THEY ALL WANT fewer chemicals. The only blocker is our government, our supply chain, and money... We've learned bout how the government is obsessed with producing corn and soy... the rest have to fend for themselves. We need a massive revolution in priorities: letting tech, efficiency, advocacy, and agriculture finally unite. We've got 40M+people living in the USA and 8B+ people living in the world. Agriculture is a global ecosystem that we must maintain... and doesn't even matter if we use more and more chemicals, over time the pests are getting immune. 🪲 Let's stop running from our problems!!! Speaking of!! 🙋🏼‍♀️ Refresh yourself on the important of activism in the stock market here, from my blog on that topic: https://lnkd.in/g5gJ8Zgm

  • Why should we prioritize agriculture? 🧑‍🌾 Ask these three buff guys!! They just crashed on an island.

This link: https://lnkd.in/gm5CxAuP 👩🏼‍💻 kelly tutors dot com, goes directly to my blog about this Ai robotics event. It was a blast and uplifting!

😅 But if you don't feel like reading (like me... lol, that's why I'm the one WRITING and ATTENDING) then you can consider to listen/watch. A link to the event is here, I'm unrelated (just was in the audience): https://lnkd.in/gCmAdDsJ <---🐮. Help a farmer out and learn about the industry, ya know? 🌾. Better yet - help your gut out. It's our food they're growing.

🐟🥥 You don't wanna be stuck like those 2 or 3 guys, eating just fish and coconuts for BL&D forever do ya? Breakfast, Lunch, AND Dinner!? Forever? idk...

    See you tomorrow. 🐟🥥.
And go stand up for a farmer or two in the meantime. 🐟🥥.
    🐟🥥. Or else. 🐟🥥. 👀

  • 🤷🏽‍♂️ So, where does someone start? How do you go about solving world hunger and/or helping farms? 🚜

Just like any other business. 👨‍💼👍 Find a problem you're sure you can solve, then solve it. There're plenty of agriculture problems to choose from locally, right? As we've discovered from this event:
    - - - > 80%+ of Americans test positive for Round Up™️ in their systems.
    - - - > 99% of farms in the USA are non-organic (chemical dependent).
    - - - > 100% of farmers interviews report that they want to be using fewer chemicals on their farms.
    - - - > 100% ONLY corn and soy farms are supported by our government. 🏛️😘🌽 & 🏛️😘🫛 A presenter from this event reported, "it's as bad as you could guess." 👀🌾

Which problem can YOU certaintaly solve? *And lately, that's where the money is, in solving 'micro problems'. Cause, big corporations have taken over 'solving' the big ones 😂😅... 🙃

🙋🏼‍♀️ I solved the problem of, "I wonder what it was like to attend this event as Kelly?" here:https://lnkd.in/gm5CxAuP ... and "I wonder what was actually said at this event?" here 💁‍♀️: https://lnkd.in/gCmAdDsJ

    So, for the
se presenting inventors talking about Robotic and Agriculutre, they're solving local farm problems day-by-day, expanding farm-by-farm (since, so far, the government literally won't help!!!)

BUT what problems did they find solutions for? GREAT ONES!! (We'll elaborate over the next chunk of posts... but here's a 🤳🏻preview ✨)

1 - These days, bascially everything is just being swamped with organic and nonorganic chemicals to keep it weed/pest free. Can we replace chemicals with working robots? YES!!!

2- Crops are getting attacked by weeds and pests all the time. Can we use traveling UV lights to protect our beloved crops? YES!!!

3 - Do you know the #1 most sprayed fruit/crop of ANY? 🍓Strawberries. Can we mass produce strawberries, chemical free?? YEAHHHH! 😁

4 - Too much time is spent on the farms picking up rocks. Can robots do it? "Freedom from rocks. Freedom to farms." ROCK ON!!! (figuratively, NOT literally 🎸 🙅🏼‍♀️ 🪨)

    - - - - -

And btw, the sun is free, right? Free and CARBON free?
    🆓🌅🆓🌞🆓☀️🆓🌄🆓🍳
Yes?? Yes? Yes. Just checking we all remember that.
    🕺

  • Let's zoom OUT real quick. 📍
We're on the topic of 'Robotics and Agriculture', yes?
    💃🏼🌾🚜 Yes! 🙌💎🤖

We saw in my previous posts these facts which roll off the tip-of-the-tongue by now:
    - Only 1% of farms are organic, the rest are chemical dependent. (We all eat that food.)
    - 80%+ of Americans test positive for the bug killer Round Up™ in their system at any time. (Right now even. Yes, you maybe/probably.)
    - Farmers don't want to be using more chemicals. (100% interviewed by the inventor presenters at this event all agreed! 👍🥳)
    - The government isn't interested in helping with any crops outside of corn or soy. 🤷🏽‍♂️

SO NOW, since no one else will!!! Kind hearted inventors are saving the day!!! Here to rescue our farms and innovate solutions, to advance our global agriculture systems and standards forever!! 😁🦸🏼🏆🦸🏾‍♂️👍.

BUT - Before we get into WHAT some of their inventions are, let's zoom out and not forget the #1 stunner of the world... our sun!! 🌅🥇

The sun is THE BEST SOURCE OF LIGHT, ENERGY, HEALING, GROWTH... everything - AT NO FEE!! So before we go out here thinking the sun is a bad guy all the time, worried it's overheating everything, let's not forget--- we can be embracing its' technology (EVEN WAY MORE THAN WE'RE DOING NOW!)

    Did you know that: 💡
Hospitals used to USE THEIR ROOFS??? Put beds up there to help patient heal (and get a break from the hospital). Why did we lose that? Why are all of the 'solutions' moved indoors and costly? Cause it makes more money for the healthcare industry? 💁‍♀️. duh 🙄.

    What's free?
    Putting people in sunshine!
    What makes money?
Sunshine light reproducing bed in hospitals that costs hundreds of thousands of dollars each, with their amazing technology and eco-efficiency. 😅

💁‍♀️ Now, you may have seen Kelly Tutors cover 'healthcare' a few months ago (blog here, if you wanna revisit: https://lnkd.in/gixfpWvQ) - I'll let the conversation on healthcare's lack of FREE SOLUTIONS be done FOR NOW. 👈👀🔦

But FARMING!!! 🌞 AGRICULTURE!! 👩‍🌾 WORLD!!!! 🌅 Let us not forget that a carbon-free solution is available DAILYYYY (as long as the ☁️ CLOUDS 👀 aren't being obnoxious 👀 or controversial opinion orchestrated/controlled/attacked(?)🫥. Some of this 'weather' lately, I'm not buying! 😅💁‍♀️☃️)

Anyway, most everything on EARTH can be enhanced with solar energy. The sun amplifies our productivity at no cost, when we allow it.

    💸🌞💸☀️💸🤖💸🚜💸🌾💸

  • Rocks gotta be picked up. 🪨🧗🏼😅
That's the name of the game! 🚜🌱🌾

Rock are a PEST!!! And they keep coming back year after year, popping up to damage CROPS and machinery. 🙈🙅🏼‍♀️

Removing rocks, (get ready to be surprised, you 'earth lovers') removing rocks EVEN IMPROVES the health of the soil! 🕊️ What!? (plus, you can turn rocks into walls or pathways, art, hahah, etc...)

So, as robots are advancing and Ai 'rocks' alongside it, "I DON'T WANT FOR ROBOTS TO TAKE MY JOB" was likely never said by a human who picks up rocks all day. It's backbreaking work.

And if this sentence was said by them (or is said by them in the future), well, we need to improve our society!! 📣 Let the robots pick up the farm rocks, okay? If anything can we get those (now feed up!) unemployed farm-rock-picking people, to go pick up trash around the world, right? Or we get robots on that too? And then let those people make art? hahaha.

Or food! Distribute food. I mean, the list goes on and on for how people could be getting to work these days :)

My point is, some of these jobs are very hard on the human body, but simple for a robot. 🥴->🤖👍

These robots can even use our free energy source: the SUN! ☀️ with battery storage 🔋 (though, the commercial average battery pack is still only 4 hours of run-time. wild huH!?)

Feels like the tech should be more advanced in 2025! Read more about that + the whole 'power' industry 😅🪫 (and a lot about ai), here at my blog about that event 🕺: https://lnkd.in/gEZpMdDR )

    So,
👀🌅🤖 these robots are solar powered, pick up rocks 24/7 (we'll talk about that soon), free up time for laborers, and they take care of this ESSENTIAL task... that isn't even being 100% well done at the moment. Reporting back, these inventors are saying that when they heading out to the farms, they can see numerous rocks are still being left behind. Picking up every single rock is a nearly impossible job for humans, but an easy job for a robot. 🤖💯✅🕺

This and more from the ACTUAL event here - you can watch the recorded livestream 💁‍♀️💻. They posted it on their website: https://lnkd.in/gCmAdDsJ

    Now
... who's ready to go out and talk with friends about agriculture today? 😁 Or at least about the benefits of local manufacturing!!? 🙋‍♂️ Right?? Live a little!
    Liven up your chitchats. 📞😁👨🏽‍🌾✨

  • 🍓🙋🏼‍♀️ Yeah. If you’ve had strawberries anytime recently, non-congrats 🙃
You’ve eaten the most heavily sprayed food in the world.
More sprayed than any other fruit, veggie, or naturally grown anything, strawberries are the #1 for Chemical Spray City. Better wash 'em. 😅🕺

Strawberries are insanely delicious, insanely tough to grow, and insanely attractive to disaster!! These days, it's tough to deliver strawberries to consumers presentably - but we do it somehow: with chemicals. 🚜🤖

But as strawberries (or any other food) get their routine chemical-spraydowns-of-resistance, the 'resistance' (the bugs/weeds) are only getting stronger. 📲 "Sir!! They're adapting, getting stronger with each fight!!!"

Yes. So it takes more and more chemicals each time!! ahh!!!🪳. How do we free our food from these pests and weeds!?!?!?

🤖👷🏼‍♂️☀️⭈🍓 Luckily, a couple of robots, a casual inventor, and some UV lights are swooping into the fields where 90% of the world's strawberries are grown... and swapping lights for sprays one farm at a time.

    🚜💡🍓✅ 🚜💡🍓✅ 🚜💡🍓✅ 🚜💡🍓✅ ⏳😅. Why not faster? Cause the government won't help 😅. So, we've gotta do this the old-fashioned way. Farm-by-farm.

I sure wish strawberries/food were cleaner, huh? 🤔
And so do the farmers! They're hyped about these solutions. 🪩👨🏽‍🌾

  • 👍😅 Good News: Humans are getting super awesome at making deadly chemicals!!

🚫🪲 Bad News: Bugs and weeds are growing super immune!!

So what... we overdose our food and problems chemically? Seeing which team makes it alive in the end? If so, I think the cockroaches/bugs might win. They are so strong. 🪳

Let's stop defining the quote frequently misattributed to Albert Einstein, "The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result". We're just giving our problems more and more and more chemicals, making them stronger and stronger, thinking this is the resolution? No way!!! 🙅🏼‍♀️🛑

Read my blog about it here: https://lnkd.in/gm5CxAuP

    Let's
hit 'em with something smarter, not the boring same ol' "deadly chemical" routine". Cause longterm, it isn't working!! Kapeesh? ☀️💁‍♀️

  • Let's talk about the illegal aliens that everyone's ignoring: BUGS AND WEEDS ON FARMS!!! 🏆🧑‍🌾🐛👩🏻‍🌾🐜👨🏽‍🌾🕷️🚜🪲 How do we stop the never-ending bugs and weeds from invading our precious source of food!?! 🪳🪳🪳👋😅. Can we continue to cover our crops in a constant chemical cleanse (1% of the time 'organically')... and then consume that food ourselves?! eew. 🙅🏼‍♀️Come on, man!! 🤦‍♀️ This is 2025. Let's get innovative, already!!Read more about the angels of agriculture, saving our food/bodies/minds one-farm-at-a-time, here, at my blog: https://lnkd.in/gm5CxAuP 😇🚜

  • First question: 🙋🏼‍♀️ How much positivity about 'abundance' is too much for one post? 😂 Next question: Do you want an organic, abundant future? With WAY less chemical-dependency??? Then keep reading 📖😁

HELLO!!! Think about this (stupid) setup right now!!! We're 'preventing disease' (and bug/weed chaos) with chemicals, then eating that chemically treated food, and then ranking the most-sick nation (per GDP) on the planet!!!!
    - ALL while 90%+ of hospitals are understaffed (read my blog on that whole industry event if you'd like: https://lnkd.in/gixfpWvQ)

    Ya' think there's
    a connection??? 🤷‍♀️ - - - - - - - 📣📊 COULD BE!

We already know just 1% of USA's farmland is organic. 😅 We also know over 80% of Americans test positive for Round Up™ in their system at any given moment!!! Yes, that's YOU right NOW. 😭‼️ yuckkkk times tennn! Welcome to reality!!!!! Who benefits from this reality? The Round Up™ corporate team? (Or do they just suffer existentially at every meal?? 😂??)

But, here's our optimistic turn 💁‍♀️: our trending buddy, artificial intelligence, is here to save the day!!!!! And I even attended an incredible SEPARATE speech this past weekend that was insanely uplifting about Ai, you can read the notes towards the end of this brand new blog: https://lnkd.in/gwVptvKp <--- the jist of this speech was about how Ai unlocks so much talent, intelligence, and possibilities, there is now literally no reason to go to war.

Okay - get ready for a huge swing, but, let's look WAY down the line/future/it starts today...
With this new level of knowledge, we can figure out how to work with what we've got. Literally, fighting over resources is no longer necessary! The gift of knowledge and Ai... it's like the Renissance Era, it's like a shift in humanity's purpose, entire focus, and entire culture. It will just take realizing.

We can turn away from fighting with other nations, and allow humanity to turn to abundance, spending time on purpose, creation, innovation, and solving problems. Regenerating the Earth!!

That speech's tone about Ai + human potential paired perfectly with the goals of these agricultural inventors (regenerating earth), which I'll discuss more next post. In the meantime, would you rather:

🔮🩼 A future where we allow humans to spend their entire work weeks bent over picking up rocks and weeds? (At least robots/ai 'aren't replacing their jobs'?)

    - or -

✨ A future where we wake up to this reality, a reality of infinite problem-solving and abundance? Where we put our weapons down, allow artificial intelligence to help us find cures, and we get to work building a future of art, purpose, education, health, wealth, and great abundance? 🏆. Just takes snapping into reality.

    - or - A blog about Ag Robots? 🤖😁🧑‍🌾🕺-> https://lnkd.in/gm5CxAuP

  • "Hey Poppa, shouldn't we just ban ALL chemicals?" 🤷🏽"Oh no, my son, not quite... completely banning all chemicals would topple our entire world economy. No, we must be patient. And treat agriculture like we treat the energy grid, or investing: by diversifying our risk prevention and solutions." 🕺Why, unlike most any other sector, does agriculture put ALL of its eggs into ONE chemical basket to solve its problems? Not cool! Let's throw some rock and weed pickin' robots into the 'problem solving' solutions, duh!! Let ROBOTS or UV lights do the jobs the chemicals are doing. Let the humans do the good stuff! This way, our food still grows and it's not being drenched in bug/weed killer the entire time it's pre-eaten. Right? I'm sick of having to guess if I washed all the toxins off. 🤦‍♀️. And I'm sick of getting sick from being wrong!! 😑Hear more of this here, at my blog!!: https://lnkd.in/gm5CxAuPWe have numerous sources of power we're investing in. We have numerous ways to invest your money... now let's get numerous ways to beat these bugs and pests! 👋 🪳

We all pay the consequences (and reap the rewards) for the choices we make in this global ecosystem. Let's get smart, already!! Restore -> not -> chore!!

  • 😍 Another cool thing about these rock picking robots? 🤖 They can work day and night!!! 🌞🌚 🪨 Actually, they're even better at their jobs in the moonlight versus daylight - the rocks just have that special glimmer when the moonlight hits at night, you know? 😂😁

What would YOU rather do at night? Sleep - or pick up rocks? 😧. Okay, dramatic either/or... but letting our farms be maintained while we rest ain't a bad idea, is it?

i'll post a picture in the comments of a GIF that I saw the other day - one current solution for rock picking. You can decide on it. (The algos know i'm interested in agriculture rock picking lately, I guess 🤦‍♀️ ....🪨🎁.....👀🤖 )

  • Who do you think is better at picking weeds 🤷‍♀️🌱🍀🐛:
    (a) a human? 🙋‍♂️🫴🤌🍃
    (b) or a robot? 🤖🦾🌱

Let's consider a world where we aim to hand over these strenuous jobs to robots... and let humans flourish!!!

I know it sounds like a huge, huge reach (compared to reality now), but we've gotta aim somewhere. And aiming for humans picking weeds on the ground while avoiding crops, no!! That is a boring place to aim and not even challenging/full use of potential (if we take this metaphor literally.. it's like so simple for a robot to reach down and grab some weeds meticulously over and over again for its entire existence). Where as, that same experience is painful to humans in so many ways 😥. Where to begin? 😅

Let robots do the little work, let the humans reach for the stars!!!!! 🕺🚀📈. Or at least not have to do these essential but terribly back-breaking jobs and/or rely on chemicals to keep up with the world's food demand.

Let's figure out how to let automation improve our quality of life. More insights from this event and my perspective at my blog, here: https://lnkd.in/gm5CxAuP

    The
transition won’t be seamless. To truly let humans 'reach for the stars', we’ll need to solve the costs, accessibility, and job displacement while ensuring that automation is sustainable. 🚜. But let's go for it, right??? You are what you eat and you manifest the future. So let's stop eating chemicals, make our voices count.

We don't need to be chemical-dependent to beat pests and killer weeds. There are other tools in our tool chest, like weed-picking robots and UV lights. Let's get creative - It's now or never. 💪. Cause who is stronger? You or a cockroach? 🪳 It's time to outsmart them, not poison ourselves in the process.

  • A funny comment from the event in this pic. 😂 A little dramatic in the facts, but it raises a point. 🤔 Solving problems on the farm is easier said than done. Each crop is unique, each farm is unique, and all of the food they are growing is precious. 🤌🌱

The inventors featured at this event realize this, from their experience on the farms, with their particular crop(s) of choice to help with. That's what it takes: picking a micro-problem, and solving it. (like robots picking up micro/all-sized rocks from farms and removing them. hashtag

l information from the recorded live event here, it was awesome... play it on your ride home instead of your normal podcast, just don't watch it while driving!!: https://lnkd.in/gCmAdDsJ (see! Again, the perks of selling your car and taking transit 😂💚🚎. It may take an extra 20+ min or so, but at least you get to watch videos, pay less, and chill on your commutes!! 🚍. Plus, these days, people even WORK on their LAPTOPS on public buses. 😂. But maybe that's only Seattle. But still, it's like doing your homework while riding home on the bussss. 💁‍♀️ Responsible/non-procristinatory-right? ... or homework on the WAY to school, depending. 🙇‍♀️hahhaa. Okay. Back to it!)

  • 🙊 Ew! Another dumb thing about 'these days'? Anything is spying on you - even cranes. 🏗️👀🙅🏼‍♀️

That's another reason it is good to work alongside people you know and trust. Those are the people you want to sign the deals with. The ones you have a relationship with... not simply there to destroy your plans!! The ones to help you build something great. 🧱

Read more and be inspired about solutions in logistics, building, robotics, and building locally... here, at my casual and semi-lengthy blog: https://lnkd.in/gm5CxAuP. At this event I attended, they talked about how it's a huge priority to them to build things locally, not only to build the economy but to prioritize safety.

You can this exact story - and more - for yourself.. here, at this recording of the event I attended (not associated with my business, I was just an attendee that enjoyed the event!)

It was a 2-hour panel, interviewing four inventors creating solutions to problems in our agricultural world.. like:
    🧪 - 99% of farms are chemical-dependent.
🪳 - 80%+ of humans test positive for Roundup (I told this to a bank employee the other day, she said, "probably not me, I work hard to avoid those types of things". I replied, "well, depending on who you ask, it's up to 93% of humans, so that's one of us.")
🪨 - Weeds, rocks, and pests are overwhelming farms.
    🧑‍🧑‍🧒‍🧒 - 8 billion mouths to feed worldwide—and growing!
👾 - Even CRANES are cyber threats these days, so we have to be careful in every step of the building process for food supply products.

  • And btw - we are not trying to be all over here, chasing trends, getting way ahead of ourselves before being $10,000,000,000 deep in a disaster! ✋ No. We need to solve problems in ways that WORK for everyone and build a better future. Ways that cut costs and work with what we've got. Like, farms have the NEED for rock picking! And no human deserves to spend their life doing that job. 🤖 Let the robots frolic, rock, and roll.Humans have the need to get ALL OF THIS ROUND UP™ out of their bodies. Let's do that by:- replacing chemicals with UV rays- embrace weed picking robots- let Ai pair with farms and detect problems IRT- etc etc!! Okay? Let's let agriculture 'get with the times' already! 💁‍♀️How are we having AR/VR/etc... and still use humans hanging over tractors to pick up rocks? Did you see the gif I posted earlier this week? I'll put an image in the comments. And here's a link to the blog -> https://lnkd.in/gm5CxAuPSo, let's not chase trends, but - what do you think agriculture needs to do to catch up with technology? 🤷‍♀️💸📊

    So
, let's not chase trends, but - what do you think agriculture needs to do to catch up with technology? 🤷‍♀️💸📊

  • Entrepreneurs, you know what it is 🙋🏼‍♀️ start with an MVP - the most simple proof of your concept. (the agriculture-robot-inventors know this motto well.)

How come? Why make the most basic possible??

'Cause resources are limited and the solutions aren't mastered.
    Build off what works.
    Start with the basics.
    Think long-term. 💁‍♀️📦
    Brick by brick, right? 🧱🚀

What can you build and bring to the farm that interests farmers? 👩🏻‍🌾 How can you help out on the farm? 🚜 👎 And don't underestimate yourself!! 🫵🏆

Heck, just look at these inventors!! 😅 At least one of these guys had never even worked in the agricultural field till he started this business. For another, this is his FIRST COMPANY ON HIS OWN (robots picking up rocks!) -

    Just
one more post on this topic of robots saving our agricultural day... then we carry on, to the fascinatingly semi-simple topic of "avoiding insider trading 101". 📈👀

  • As we wrap up this topic, let's celebrate our number one stunna' THE SUN!!!
☀️🏆🌞🥰 It's carbon-free, full of life, and helpful as much as it can be!! It's like a healthy, non-toxic relationship. 😂 hahhaa.

Let's work alongside the sun's natural abilities to carry 'agriculture' towards a brighter future 🌞.

, next: you already know!!... we're on to the ALWAY-relevant but OFTEN-ignored topic: Avoiding Illegal Insider Trading 101 🧑🏼‍🏫📈🕺.

    Can't wait 😄. See you there!! 👍

  • What inspired these inventors to commit such dedication to solving problems in the agricultural industry? They saw fundamental flaws in the system... 😂. Sounds familiar!! 🙇‍♀️. Stock market, anyone? (my blog on an event about the broken stock market I recently attended: https://lnkd.in/g5gJ8Zgm)

    Should
communities provide for their neighbors as much as possible? Or do we continue to heavily depend on subsidations? Trade? Often international trade, for foods we're growing locally!?

Do we have the ability to feed ourselves? Logistically? Economically? Politically? Why are things how they are now? Why not? Let's solve this! 🧩

Neighboring farms aren't feeding locally. And everything costs TOO MUCH!! "What up with that!??"- Diondre Cole, SNL 🕺

Read more from my blog here about this event on agriculture problem-solving, happening today... 'cause what the heck is going on with our food systems these days atm, idk!? 🏧🌾🤷‍♀️ https://lnkd.in/gm5CxAuP <--- and btw, we won't be talking about this topic forever. So enjoy it while it's top of your newsfeeeeedsssssssss 🤓💻

  • Agree or disagree?

Your country should have the ABILITY to supply food for itself? Should that be a goal that we work on?

I don't think it's the worst idea, and no one is saying STOP global trade. But, supplying your own food is smart.

I think it's a great idea to be able to feed yourself more substantially with 'home-grown' food. Not having to rely on global trade logistics and transportation nonstop (especially if/when you've got plenty of cheap local options.) BUT WALK INTO THE GROCERY STORE: HOW MUCH IS LOCALLY GROWN?? HOW MUCH OF THAT IS FAIR PRICED? Often, the most competitive prices were grown overseas or chemical-dependent.

OUR SYSTEM IS BROKEN!!!! Who is this setup ideal for? Not 'the common people'.

WHY CAN YOU 'UBER EATS' A MCDONALDS 24/7 BUT NOT BUY YOUR NEIGHBOR'S PLENTIFUL CROPS FOR A FAIR PRICE AT THE STORE? WHY ARE WE IMPORTING CRAPPY SKETCHY FOOD OPTIONS FROM OVERSEAS WHEN WE GROW ALL THE SUPPLIES NEXT DOOR??
