Kelly Tutors: Adding knowledge one event at a time.

Inspiring and co-building the future of Kids’ Edutainment.

If you are a kid/youth, the content for you is above in the

Younger Kelly Tutors section :) - see you there!

  • Kelly Tutors’ mission is about spotting those moments where kids’ safety, independence, or voice gets compromised by norms — and then building tools (stories, classes, zines, games) that help them see patterns, name them, and protect themselves.

  • For the last decade, I’ve worked independently and internationally in education, entertainment, and systems thinking. I’ve produced bold commentary on major events, landed a nomination for Rising Leader (2023, Women in Toys), was disqualified from the Seattle Short Film Festival (2025, “Waiting for MOASS”), and stay unapologetically committed to making education cool again.

  • Kelly Tutors is always growing, with new classes, worksheets, movies, blogs, and events keep shaping what it becomes. Right now, it’s a mix of:

    • Classes & Curriculum: live learning experiences and creative worksheets.

    • Media & Storytelling: blogs, films, and podcasts that spark curiosity.

    • Kids’ Edutainment: content that feels fun and gives kids the tools they deserve.

  • What’s stopping us from giving present and future generations the best tools to thrive? We’re stuck between outdated education and questionable screen time. With potential for amazing experiences if we just put our minds to it & get to work.

My teaching philosophy is rooted in my 5-in-1 lesson framework: every class helps students have fun, build practical skills, grow in character, develop long-term values, and practice big-picture thinking.

To make this real, I design each lesson in three parts — plus a bonus. Emotional, Logical, Social + Take-Home Content. Learn more.

Kelly’s Favorite Fables

  • The Hero of Holland

In a village by the sea, protected by a wall, a trickle of water began seeping through. Walking home alone, a person noticed, and immediately knew this leak could flood the entire village. Without hesitation, they dashed and stuck a finger against the break, stopping the flow of water. They called out for help, but no one was around. 🙇‍♀️

Night fell and the air was icy, and their arm ached… but they held, knowing the importance of their action. When it seemed they could not hold one second more, another person finally appeared. 🛡️

Alarm was raised and help soon arrived. The little hero’s unwavering commitment worked.

  • The Scorpion & The Frog

A scorpion wanted to cross a river but couldn't swim. It asked a nearby frog to carry it across. 🫥

The frog hesitated at first, fearing the scorpion's sting. “You’ll sting me!” said the frog. The scorpion argued how stinging the frog would hurt them both. Make them both drown. “Good point,” agreed the frog, allowing the scorpion to hop on.

Halfway across the water, the scorpion stung the frog, which stunned his body. As they both began to sink, the frog gasped, "Why would you do this?" 🦂

The scorpion, somberly, replied, "It's my nature."

  • Hercules & The Wagoner

A wagoner was leading his horses along a muddy lane. The team had a fully packed wagon to bring home and enjoy. But it started to rain more and more, soon the wheels sank deep into the mud. He was stuck. No efforts from his horses made a difference. 🐴

As the wagoner stood there, helplessly calling loudly for Hercules’ help, Hercules arrived!

Hercules said to the wagoner: 💪 “Put your shoulder to the wheel, Man, and motivate your horses! Only THEN you may ask Hercules to assist you. If you won’t help yourself, you can’t expect anyone else to do the same.”
